This work represents an exploration of the metaphysical notion of Determinism where one reaction, creation, leads to another. This concept stems out from a general interest in analytical truth which is formulated on the idea that one truth is real in one place but not in another. Salt has been used as the main medium for these pieces.
Although its abrupt meaning may vary in the pieces such as, salt as preservation, water conditioning, or an invitation for spiritual lives/ auroras, the sole reason for using it has to do with matter. The reason for combining these materials is not only because they both decay in distinct times showcasing the relativity to the concept of ephemerality but also because both organic materials are manufactured in a way that allows them to adapt to new environments; signifying how transgressive segregated hybrids are able to live in different circumstances. One may also comment on how this adaptation may result in more heterogenous communities.
As the work progressed, humans became objects, objects became forms, and forms became abstract notions of the truth. Eventually, the work seems to ask questions related to Perudarantism and Endurantists: Are we present at all times in a given moment? or are we present in temporal parts? Are we deceiving ourselves and the world we live in?
