With a variety of various areas of expertise, Yellow is one of the most comprehensive and utilised consumer platforms. With the aid of such networking tool, users are able to expand their lists of various sources of knowledge.

The typical liberal understanding of pluralism is that we live in a world in which there are indeed many perspectives and values that, when amalgamated, we will never be able to adopt them all but when connected, they constitute a harmonious dimension. Every hegemonic order is susceptible of being challenged by counter-hegemonic practices; practices that attempt to disarticulate the existing order as to install another form of hegemony. Yellow, is a telephone directory constituting of various sources of knowledge that can be continuously updated even by new messengers. The interactive viewer is provided with the opportunity to question the dominant hegemony with people, coming from various fields, who have committed themselves to exchange information, thoughts or practices. This interactive piece is a self driven opportunity to construct new subjectivities as it has the possibility to re-shape identities as these are seen as being discursively constructed and fabricated. it also tackles the dimension of antagonism that characterises human societies by reflecting on how the dominant tendency in liberal thought is being characterised by a rationalist and individualist approach that is unable to grasp adequately the pluralist nature of the social world. Such rapid approach towards knowledge acquisition can also reflect the incessant competitive nature of the neo-liberal exigencies, where those who fall behind become defined and self-defined as losers. This overwhelming and exhaustive competitive need of production and knowledge acquisition has as a consequence, been the cause of increasing self-harm, eating disorders, depression, loneliness, anxiety and social phobia.
